《民用建筑工程室内环境污染控制标准》GB50325-2020在今年8月1日起已经开始执行。新政实施两个多月以来,PureLiving被合作伙伴和终端客户问及到不少问题。今天PureLiving总结出6个常见问题,并与全球权威检验、鉴定、测试和认证机构SGS的技术人员共同讨论并解答,以提供快速和全面的指南。

The GB 50325-2020 standard for indoor environmental pollution control of civil buildings  has been updated and implemented since August 1st, 2020. Over the past two months, PureLiving has been asked a lot of questions by clients, partners and end users. To provide a quick and comprehensive guide to the updated standard,  PureLiving has come up with six frequently asked questions and discussed with SGS, the world's leading inspection, accreditation, testing and certification company, to answer them.

Q1: 当两个额外参数(甲苯和二甲苯)不能通过当地实验室的CMA认证时,客户/项目经理应该如何做? What should clients or project managers decide when the two new, additional parameters (toluene & xylene) cannot be CMA certified by local Labs? 

A: 由于CMA没有对甲苯和二甲苯的新参数进行认证,这意味着这两个新增参数将不会获得CMA认证,客户/项目经理可以选择这两个参数的其他认证方法,如CNAS认证或AT认证。Since CMA does not certify the new parameter of toluene and xylene, this means the two addition parameters will not be CMA certified, clients/project managers can choose other accreditation methods for these two parameters, such as CNAS certified or AT certified. 

Q2: 由于CMA现阶段没有在上海审核GB50325-2020的实验室,作为客户和项目团队要如何选择实验室? How should a client or project team choose a lab seeing as CMA is not reviewing GB50325-2020 in Shanghai at current stage? 

A: 虽然GB50325在未来可能不会受到CMA的监管,但一个CMA认可的实验室仍然是决定该实验室是否符合标准的关键因素。另一方面,测试公司的规模、声誉和项目案例也是选择实验室时需要考虑的因素。Although GB50325-2020 might not be supervised by CMA in the future, a CMA accreditation laboratory is still the key factor to determine if the laboratory is compliant or not. On the other hand, the size, reputation, and number of project reference cases of the testing company are also factors that should be considered when selecting a  lab. 

Q3: 典型商业项目采样点选择新要求的挑战是什么? What are the challenges of the new sampling point selection requirements in a typical commercial project?

如果场地面积大于1000平方米,新标准要求每1000平方米增加一个采样点,这意味着大型开放空间场地将增加更多的采样点。The updated standard requires an additional one sampling point for each 1000 sqm. If the space is larger than 1000 sqm, there will be more sampling points for large open space sites.

Q4: 新标准对学校(或其他一级建筑)意味着什么? What does the updated standard mean for schools (or other Class 1 buildings)?

新规定对学校和其他一级建筑的要求更高。取样地点的选择和空气污染物的阈值都更加严格。The updated standard requirements are now higher for schools and other class 1 buildings. The selection of sampling locations, and the threshold of the air contaminants, are both more stringent. 

Q5: GB50325-2020对污染物的要求现在看来比GB/T18883-2002更加严格。客户和项目团队应该选择哪一种标准?GB50325-2020's requirement on pollutants seems to be more stringent than GB/T18883-2002 now. Which standard should a client or project team choose?

我们不能简单地说GB 50325-2020比GB/T18883-2002的污染物限值更严格,因为这两个标准要求的采样程序和检测方法不同。另外GB/T18883-2002需要监测19个参数,而GB50325-2020只需要7个参数。对于施工后的项目,可选用GB 50325检验其是否满足基本空气质量要求。GB/T 18883常用来检测运行场所空气质量是否对人员有害。We cannot simply say GB 50325-2020 is more stringent than GB/T18883-2002 based on their pollutant limits, as the sampling procedure and testing methods required by these two standards are different. In addition, GB/T18883-2002 requires 19 parameters to be monitored, while GB50325-2020 requires only 7 parameters. For post-construction projects, GB 50325 can be chosen to check whether it meets basic air quality requirement. While GB/T 18883 is often used to check if the air quality of the in-operation site is hazardous for occupants.  

Q6: 新的GB将如何影响项目经理,材料供应商,和总承包商?How will the updated standard impact project managers, material vendors and general contractors? 

项目经理需要比以往更加关注室内空气品质。材料供应商需要更加关注自己产品的健康安全。一般承建商必须把室内空气质素问题列为优先事项。PMs need to pay more attention to IAQ (indoor air quality) than ever before. Material vendors need to pay more attention to the health safety on their own products. General contractors need to put IAQ issues on a higher priority.
